Orientation:
Hello from Mr. Dustin Seifert, Director of Bands and Sponsor of the Beta Lambda Chapter, along with a brief overview of the campus layout and procedures.

See No, Hear No, Speak No
A workshop in pushing the boundaries of communication, this will force you to find a way to portray an idea without the main ways to communicate.  Guaranteed to enhance your abilities to talk to a large variety of people, this workshop will bring new options to light and push the barriers off of your old ways to connect with those around you while having a good time!  Presented by Melissa Rice and Tyler Albracht

Strength and Service – A look at logistics, differing strengths, and development of a chain of command to increase the efficiency of the physical aspect of service to the college and university bands: In this workshop we will talk about the logistical issues of a small budget (for transportation) band program.  We will look at possible abilities that can be utilized in band members who are willing to participate in loading and moving equipment but lack the necessary physical prowess.  We will also talk about developing a chain of command from the equipment loader to the different sections to increase efficiency in the loading process.  At the end of the workshop the floor will be opened up into an open forum to discuss differences in other programs and how those differences can be utilized to help at your school. Presented by: Richard Hall

Serving is More Than Just Serving:
A workshop focused on exploring the many facets of service.  We will examine how every Brother and Sister can serve, not only through physical labor, but also through being a diligent academic, a better musician, and a supportive comrade.  We will learn how every member has an important part in service, and how each of us can use those skills to further the aims of the chapter. Presented by Franklin Piland

The F Conflict Resolution: Ever had a conflict with someone that just fought everything you said, someone who froze and didn’t say a word to you, or someone that just agreed with every little thing you said to them? Have a hard time figuring out to handle these types of people? Come to the F conflict resolution and get a better understanding of the four F’s of conflict resolution and how to handle them. Presented by Ashley Runquist

An Exploration into the Diversity of the College Band (and why this is the best collegiate activity EVER)An interactive investigation into the history of the college bands and what makes this activity so special.  We will look into our own chapters and bands to discover the truths within ourselves and how our immense diversity only enriches this great collegiate activity!  Presented by Melissa Rice

Academic Melting Pot:
Everyone is united through a common purpose in Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma and we come from many different places and different programs. Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma are built of many different students and through our differences we create strong chapters. Students from different academic disciplines add to the melting pot of strengths that can be used in Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. In this workshop we will learn the importance of having academic variations within our organizations. Presented by Cassandra Cole
